Objective : Observing the network structure the onions and oral cavity epithelial cells.
Tools and Materials :
1.Mikroskop with equipment
2. Preparations glass / glass objects
3. Glass cover / glass dack
4. Pipette
5. Toothpick
6. Onion
7. Metelin blue
8. Epithelial

8. Epithelial
How it works:
1. Observations of plant cells in the skin of onions:
• Setting up the microscope with equipment
• Creating the membrane preparations with mangupas onion epidermis of onion is still fresh by hand.
• Laying the epidermis or epidermis of onion with a drop of water on the right above the glass object, then closed with a glass cover (deckglasss)
• Observing and drawing on the table that has been provided
• To see the results of the nucleus, dripping with blue metelin solution around the cover glass. Observing and menyocokkan results with images on literature
• Measure the length of objects

2. Observation of animal cells in oral epithelial cells
• scrape the inside cheek of the mouth using a toothpick look carefully.
• Laying results scrapings on glass preparations that have been soaked with water.
• Stir with a toothpick and cover with a glass cover
• Conduct observations and measurements and menetesinya with blue metelin to see the cell nucleus.

Question:
1. Describe the function of blue metelin
As a membrane color and to clarify the cell nucleus
2. Write down the differences in plant cells (onion) and animal cells (oral epithelium) of the observations
Cell lines in animal cells is not fixed because it does not have a cell wall so the cell membrane can move with free. On the plants have a fixed shape because cells possess the cell membrane so that the movement is limited.
3. Explain the differences and similarities between plant cells and animal cells, based on the literature
